7 Years MD Program Details:

The seven-year MD pathway (4 MD + 3 Years Preclinical) is specifically designed for students who possess secondary school credentials and aspire to pursue a career in medicine. This pathway offers a comprehensive medical education that prepares students for their journey toward becoming skilled healthcare professionals.

Years 1-3: Preclinical Coursework

• The first three years are dedicated to preclinical coursework in Grenada, providing a solid foundation in the medical sciences.

Years 4-5: Basic Science Coursework

• During the fourth and fifth years, students continue their studies in Grenada, focusing on in-depth coursework in the basic sciences.

Years 6-7: Clinical Training

• In the final two years, students transition to clinical training, gaining practical experience in affiliated hospitals located in the US or UK.

• This hands-on training allows students to apply their knowledge in real-world medical settings, developing essential clinical skills. The seven-year MD pathway ensures a well-rounded education by combining rigorous preclinical coursework, extensive basic science training, and valuable clinical experience. Students will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to provide compassionate and effective medical care. The curriculum includes subjects such as general biology (including lab), general chemistry (including lab), community health, computer concepts and applications, introduction to psychology, and arts and humanities elective courses.
