The six-year MD pathway (4 MD + 2 Years Preclinical) offers a comprehensive medical education designed to prepare students for a successful career in healthcare.
Years 1-2: Preclinical Coursework
• Students have the option to study in Grenada, the UK, or India during the first two years.
Year 3: Basic Science Coursework
• The third year is dedicated to basic science coursework, which can be completed in Grenada or the UK.
Year 4: Basic Science Coursework
• During the fourth year, students continue their basic science studies in Grenada.
Years 5-6: Preclinical Coursework (Second year of 6-year pathway only)
• In the final two years, students engage in preclinical coursework, which can be completed in Grenada, the UK, or India.
The 6 Years MD Program offers a comprehensive education that combines in-depth scientific knowledge with essential skills for effective communication and understanding public health principles. The program curriculum encompasses a range of subjects, including anatomy, physiology, general chemistry (including lab work), organic chemistry (including lab), public speaking, statistics, nutrition, health psychology, and public health.

Secondary school diploma: Exceptional science performance with AP’s, SABIS High School.
Further education: AS Levels, Baccalaureate, South Africa Matric, Higher School Exam, Irish Leaving Certificate. WASSCE: B2 or better in minimum 6 subjects which include Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, and English
An English exam is required for any prospective student whose country is not considered English-speaking as per UKVI*. However, if you obtained your undergraduate degree in any English-speaking country, there may be an exception. In this instance, you must request a waiver in order to be determined by the FSSC.
IELTS- 7.0 on each band
TOEFL- 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), or 100 (internet-based). The University’s TOEFL code is 2864 Password-Skills –Scoring is the same as IELTS scoring for direct entry
C1 Advanced- A score of 186 overall is required for direct entry
PTE Academic – A score of 85 overall is required for direct entry
