Program Description
5 Years MD Program Details:
The five-year medical degree pathway (4 MD + 1 Year Preclinical) offers a comprehensive education for aspiring medical professionals.
Year 1: Preclinical Coursework
• Students can choose to study in Grenada, the UK, or India during the first year.
• This year focuses on building a strong foundation in the core principles of medicine.
Year 2: Basic Science Coursework
• Students continue their basic science studies in Grenada or the UK.
• Subjects covered include genetics, molecular biology (including lab work), microbiology (including lab work), physiology, and the integration of social sciences and medicine.
Year 3: Basic Science Coursework
• The third year provides an additional year of comprehensive basic science coursework.
Years 4-5: Clinical Training
• The final two years focus on clinical training in affiliated hospitals in the US or UK.
• Students gain hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating patients under the guidance of experienced professionals.
• The curriculum combines rigorous scientific coursework with practical clinical training, preparing students for a successful career.

Admission Requirements
3 Advanced Levels: A’s and B’s in Chemistry, Biology, and either Math or Physics
CAPE Units 1 and 2: Minimum grade of 2 in Biology, Chemistry, and either Physics or Math. If applicant has a 1 at CAPE 1 level in either Physics or Math, then another subject can be considered.
Full IB Diploma with strong grades. 3HL science courses recommended; 2HL required.
Associate degree: 60 credits, or equivalent, with biology, chemistries, and mathematics.
10 + 2 for India and Nepal with a score of 80% in all classes
English Language Requirements
An English exam is required for any prospective student whose country is not considered English-speaking as per UKVI*. IELTS- 7.0 on each band
TOEFL- 94 Overall, with at least 24 in Writing and Listening, 23 in Speaking, and 27 in Writing
Password-Skills –Scoring is the same as IELTS scoring for direct entry
Cambridge Academic English – C1 Advanced: A score of 186 overall is required for direct entry
PTE Academic – A score of 66.3 overall is required for direct entry
